We are about to begin a journey together in our second school year at Ballington Academy for the Arts and Sciences. Each and every student and his or her family will help us to build a community and culture of academic excellence at our school. We are all very fortunate to be a part of the first charter school in the Imperial Valley. We are one of the best schools in the Valley.

Our goals include high academic rigor while providing students with the tools for a better future and a life of success. We are committed to properly preparing all our students with a solid foundation of academic excellence and an appreciation of the power and importance of the arts and sciences. We strive to provide an environment that promotes positive learning experiences, responsibility and respect for all individual differences. We expect everyone in our Ballington family to give their best at all times and work together to achieve individual and group goals. Our staff will work collaboratively to challenge all students and ensure all students reach their potential.

We look forward to a great school year and expect all students to read, follow directions, maintain good attendance and complete all assignments as assigned by teachers.
